How do I apply?

  • Application deadline is Friday 27 April 2018.
  • Applications will be processed and places assigned on a first come basis as there are limited places per country - so be quick! Don't wait for the last minute to apply.

What happens after I apply?

As soon as we receive a complete application form from you, our team will process it and send you an acceptance form that Includes:

  • Personal details and emergency contact sections; Travel/Health Insurance details; Medical/Dietary details; and other necessary permission and acknowledgement sections that need to be filled in by you or your guardian if you are under 18).

After submitting your acceptance form, you will be sent the following documents:

  • Chrysalis Guidelines: What Should I Bring?
  • Chrysalis Guidelines: Accommodation
  • Chrysalis Guidelines: Organising Flights

You must submit the completed acceptance form including payment details to secure your place. Remember, your acceptance form must be processed (i.e. payment must be received) by Friday 25 May 2018.
Finally, all participants must provide flight details (Arrival and Departure) by Monday 9 July 2018.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Due to guardianship arrangements, under-18 students must not arrive prior to Friday 28 July and leave no later than Friday 4 August 2018.

Fees

The one week program costs AU$2,300.

What does the fee include?

This fee includes all academic programs and workshops, mentoring, accommodation, meals, airport pick-up and drop off, daily transportation, field trips and recreational activities organised as part of the program.

What is not covered in the fees?

This fee does not include airfares, visa costs and insurance. Students must book their own flights and provide us with details once booked. This is a mandatory requirement to ensure we can organise pick-up and drop-off for each student. Please liaise with the nearest Australian consular services office to apply for a suitable visa well in advance. Note that all participants must have valid travel and health cover prior to commencing in the program.

Payment guidelines: Payments can be made by credit card or via direct bank transfer. Further details are provided in the acceptance form.
